Basic Purpose:
Use geographic information system applications and tools, to conduct in depth analysis for relevant cross functional stakeholders, in order to direct, recommend and assist the decision making process in Zain.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage & interact with external suppliers to ensure operational and functional up to date data and applications are available for analysis; Specifically G.I.S. & Digital Map Suppliers.
Engage with and Utilize the internal stakeholder sources to update all Geomarketing map layers, including coverage prediction, data Warehouse information, Sales channel POS and KPIs, etc. to continously provide direction and analysis.
Provide site selection analysis to assist in the expansion process for new network sites and sales POS, using location based analytical models.
Develop business cases for each network expansion site, while calculating the coverage percentage by technology for the population and geography, with Return On Investment (ROI), calculation to ensure a successful commercial investment in line with strategy.
Conduct ongoing Geomarketing analysis and implementation to provide periodical recommendations and directions using location based intelligence & Ensure Automated customized Geomarketing tools are available for internal stakeholder clients.
Identify target areas for highest revenue, and provide Location Bases Services and Execution recommendations, through BTL campaign to targeted customers, while excluding competitor areas.
Requirements and Qualifications::
Bachelor's degree, preferably Geographical Information Systems (G.I.S.) / Marketing / Business / IT / Management Information Systems (MIS) (with good command of commercial) Systems / Software Engineering - Masters (MBA) is a plus.
Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience
Working knoweledge of GIS tools & uses, with telecommunications.
Extremely capable in analytical insights & reporting abilities
Arabic & English language
Strong IT background. Proven analytical track record and strong in interpretation of numbers
Exposure to commercial reporting / financial reporting would be preferred
Telecom background work in Networks and Geomarketing
Advanced SQL Server Database Operation
Expert in Geographic Information Systems (G.I.S.) with theoretical & practical experience; Development, Digitizing, Analysis and Reporting (Eg. ArcGIS or MapInfo).
Strong self motivated team player.
Outspoken communication and presentation skills
Experience in managing and developing teams
Skilled in Geomarketing applications in Trade Marketing & Distribution and Marketing
