Recently, I've been playing around with the idea of creating my own set of 3D symbols to use in ArcMap specific to the line of work that I'm in. I'm wondering if anyone here in the community has any experience doing this and what software they use to create the symbols. I am familiar with Blender (which is a free option) and very unfamiliar with the other major packages on the market. I have yet to find how to import a blender mesh into ArcMap as a symbol, though I may be missing something. Does anyone know how to import from Blender to ArcMap for 3D symbology, and if not, what software should I be using for this sort of thing?
