Overview:
The Corporate Logistics Team plan, move and control the flow of goods from point of origin to point of consumption across all divisions, markets and brands within Alshaya. Working closely with brand teams to ensure appropriate stock and delivery to store, the team manages a range of complex and diverse activities including shipping, freight, warehouse operations, customs clearance (in-bound and out-bound), compliance and project management.
The Role:
You will supervise a team of Warehouse Operatives overseeing the receiving, binning, picking and dispatching of merchandise in the warehouse and ensures that all work is carried out efficiently and in accordance with security and safety regulations and that any issues with employees are escalated to the Warehouse Manager.
Skills and Experience:
* A minimum of 2-3 years' experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre
* English language skills
* Basic IT skills
