Wondering what experience does anyone have using NDVI's for plant identification? I have 4-band geoTifs (RGB+IR). We use these to create 10-class NDVIs. We need to determine if we can use Arcmap or something else to reliably and automatically identify which field is corn or soybeans (we don't care about any other vegetation). Does anyone have any advice and how long does a project like this typically take to complete?
