I have a basic map I would like to trace into vector form in QGIS. The map is just a JPEG and has no coordinate reference data. Whenever I import it into QGIS, it ends up as a tiny speck at 0,0.
How do I scale the image up and overlay it on the correct coordinate system so that I can trace the map into vectors?
