Third International Workshop on "Remote sensing Data Analysis, Modelling, Interpretation and Applications: from a Global View to a Local Analysis" RS 13
in conjunction with

The 2013 International Conference on Computational Science and its Applications (ICCSA 2013)

June 24th - June 27th, 2013

International University, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
http://www.iccsa.org/
Description
Remotely sensed data provide temporal and spatial consistent measurements useful to derive information on the dynamic nature of Earth surface processes (sea, ice, land, atmosphere), to detect and identify
land changes, to discover cultural resources, to study the dynamics of urban expansions. Thanks to the establishment and maintenance of long-term observation programs, presently huge amount of multiscale and multifrequency remotely sensed data are available.
To fully exploit such data source for a number of fields of application (Environmental, Cultural Heritage, Urban analysis, Disaster management) effective and reliable data processing, modelling and interpretation are required. This session will bring together scientists and managers from Remote Sensing, ICT, Geospatial analysis and modelling, to share information on the latest advances in remote sensing data analysis,
product development, validation and data assimilation.

Main topics:

1) Remotely sensed data
Multispectral satellite : from medium to very high spatial resolution
Airborne and spaceborne Hypespectral data
Open data source (Modis, Vegetation, etc..)
Airborne Laser Scanning
Airborne and spaceborne Radar imaging
Thermal imaging
Declassified Intelligence Satellite Photographs (Corona, KVR)
Ground remote sensing

2) Methods and procedures
Change detection
