StreetMap Premium for ArcGIS is a ready-to-use dataset for map display, geocoding, and routing. It’s been around for years in the file geodatabase format, and for use in Desktop and Server. Recent advancements in Desktop (ArcGIS Pro) include a map display symbology for faster drawing times, along with enhanced geocoding and routing tools.
StreetMap Premium is now available in a new map package format (.mmpk extension) that is*optimized for use in ArcGIS Pro. This format is designed to leverage many of the advancements in the new ArcGIS Desktop software (Pro). It’s also*immediately accessible and downloadable*from ArcGIS Online. This means that you won’t need to receive DVDs in the mail, but rather just download when the data is updated.

To download and use this map data you must be logged into ArcGIS Pro or ArcGIS Online with an account that is licensed for StreetMap Premium. Your ArcGIS Online Administrator will need to assign the StreetMap Premium license to you as a Pro extension. For more information on managing ArcGIS Pro licenses, see Manage ArcGIS Pro licenses in ArcGIS Pro help.
