I'm trying to split a large orthophoto to smaller tiles in order to use them as textures on DEM tiles the same size in CityEngine. I've been using the Split Raster tool in ArcGIS to try and output some kind of 8 bit image file. I now have my original photo in ESRIgrid, TIFF, PNG, and JPEG. Every time I try to run the output of Split Raster as a jpg from any of the origins I get no output files along no error message either. I was able to eventually get my 8 bit JPEG tiles (after converting TIFF tiles to PNGs to JPGS one by one) but all with slightly different colors and most obnoxiously with black lines of pixels on random tiles. The black lines seem to occur when the conversion to 8 bit happens. Has anyone ever encountered these errors or attempted a similar workflow? Thank you
