I have some issues with my smartphone's GPS: while I am running it frequently loses signal. I don't know what causes the problem, but I assume I have to buy a new phone or a watch if I want to get proper GPS info of my runnings. I have not been able to decide whether a smartwatch or a smartphone would be the proper choice. What I need is an accurate and precise GPS, which has at most 20m error in 1km distance, finds the signal fast and does not frequently lose it. The only comparison of phone and watch GPSs I found was this, but it contains only a few products. Do you know of a more exhaustive comparison of products and/or GPS chipsets?
