Should I learn VB.NET with Visual Studio for GIS technician/analyst's job ? I am doing my "Certificate in GIS" course which has Python programming in it. When I saw the job descriptions of the opening I usually see VB.NET as a requirement. Python is the only programming language I know. I have done my MSc. in Geography.
