To whom it may concern-
I'm using QGIS 2.8.2 Wien. I'm having a problem with fill patterns and having them print properly from the Print Composer. I could only find one other StackExchange question that dealt with this issue, but its answer was unclear/unselected.
Currently I have set a buffer layer within one of my Projects with the Diagonal X Fill style. Everything looks fine both within the Print Composer and the main view window. As stated above, the problem I'm having arises when I attempt to print or export the file as a PDF. From all that I can see, the fill style disappears and is replaced with a solid fill both when printing and exporting. When exporting, the fill color also appears to darken.
I'm not sure on what causes this issue. My gut tells me it might be a scale issue but I have no idea how to fix that if it is.
Thanks in advance for any help that can be offered.
