I am trying to analyze the urban form of a city. I don't have the polygon file for streets, so I must derive block structure from parcel data (see image below).
What tool could I use to accomplish this?
I've tried running dissolve in QGIS, but that has been running overnight and I'm not sure if it will do what I need it to i.e. will it make one big polygon or several polygons?
