LAND SURVEYOR

Job Purpose
The Land Surveyor is responsible for coordinating between the site and the officer in order to ensure that the tasks are being performed accurately according to topographic methodologies.
Major Activities
• To provide essential data inputs to the clients after meaningful survey
• Calculates heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.
• Plans and conducts ground surveys designed to establish baselines, elevations, and other geodetic measurements as needed.
• Determines longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas, using Total Station, levels and satellite-based Global Positioning Systems (GPS).
• Coordinates with consultants in servicing special requests and operational issues, as they arise.
• Establishes fixed points for use in making maps, using geodetic and engineering instruments.
• Supervise the work activities of surveyors as requested by the engineer.;
• Establishes and maintains Project Control

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Topography/Civil Engineering.
• Professional Certificate is a plus.
• Construction is a plus..
Experience
• Minimum 5 to 6 years’ experience in a similar field on site.
Skills
• Skills and Knowledge: -Very good knowledge of English. -Arabic is a plus.
