I found this question and awnserLAG LiDAR Analysis GUI installation guideIt did not help me further, thus I ask again.
what I did:
checking for laslib... noconfigure: error: Package requirements (laslib) were not met:No package 'laslib' foundConsider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if youinstalled software in a non-standard prefix.Alternatively, you may set the environment variables laslib_CFLAGSand laslib_LIBS
How/where do i set these variables so that lidarquadtree can find them and go through with compiling?Also it searches for 'laslib' however I understand that the special fork ought to rename this library to 'liblaslib'.
Please help me to get arsf-LAG installed on my Ubuntu vivid 15.04 machine.thank you,marco

what I did:
- download and extract https://github.com/arsf/lag toHome/Apps/arsf-LAG
- download and extract the lastools arsf fork toHome/Apps/arsf-LAG/lastools folder
- in lastools dir: $ make (compiles correctly)
- in lidarquadtree dir: $ libtoolize && autoheader && aclocal && automake --add-missing && autoconf
- in lidarquadtree dir: $ ./configure
