Intersection of 2 feature class in flex

I have two feature class and the requirement is to intersect both of them in flex.I'm querying on one feature class, getting its geometries. I tried doing union of all the geometries of the layer into one geometry using the Geometry service but then it doesn’t seem to work.Is there any other way to pass geometry of one feature class to other so as to intersect them.Any help will be appreciated.Thanks in Advance !
