I would like to transform an irregular polyline into a straight one.
Here are some details: I work with ArcGIS on a project in which I have an irregular polyline that is crossed by numerous streams. The idea is to show it as a straight line with the points where are the stream crossing in second data frame (something like an elevation profile, but flat). The schema isn't scaled but only to give the idea.
