i have given a 3D raster and ask to reference it . i have a 2D outline of what the top layer of the 3d raster is expressing . i understand that as the 3D raster is not actually 2D , that as soon as i georeference it , i am going to be distorting it.
i was wondering if there are rules i can build into the distoration or if anyone has had osme experience with carrying out such as task .
From my intial attempts , just georeferncing it . The results have not been very good. i was wondering if there might be some other steps.
i am using Arc . I also have Adobe illustrator , or i can use Grass if there is a soloution to be had elsewhere
Thanks
