How to convert/interpolate feature layer to raster layer?

According to ESRI documentation about Making NetCDF Raster Layer:

To create a netCDF raster layer from a netCDF variable, the spacing between x-coordinates must be equal and the spacing between y-coordinates must be equal. If the coordinates are unequally spaced, create a netCDF feature layer, then interpolate to raster.

I was wondering how can one convert or interpolate a feature layer into a raster layer?

I googled around, and results I found are about raster interpolations.
