1. Responsibilities
The scope of work of the TA covers all the activities / actions required to successfully install, repair and maintain High Voltage GIS systems.
Objective
TA is technically responsible to guide the installation of high voltage GIS systems for PTHS. TA represents ABB and PTHS in general through his/her presence and technical knowledge, specifically in dealing with the client at the installation site. The deadlines issued for each project are adhered to, whereby the cost/performance ratio must always be borne in mind. TA embodies the ABB QA philosophy, taking into account the special conditions on the construction sites.
Site activities
TA is technically responsible for the installation work entrusted to him/her.
TA instructs, advises and monitors the installation personnel work.
TA is accountable for the compliance with the installation requirements and
instructions.
TA guarantees that the necessary OH&S are observed; specifically, TA obeys the
guidelines for work on live system components.
TA attends the local construction meetings.
TA is responsible for detailed installation planning, monitoring of the progress, formulating proposals to achieve targets and implementing appropriate measures. TA may request overtime work where required.
TA keeps record of quality, progress, deviations and document, drawing changes. TA is authorised, following consultation with the competent Installation Project Manager (1PM) or the ABB representative, to purchase tools, consumables and installation materials.
TA is responsible for the ABB Tools on site.
Reporting system
The TA is responsible for the reporting system. The liaison person in the company is the 1PM, responsible for the project. All reports as well as information, clarification, installation reports, quality reports, damage reports, progress reports and other reports must go through this person.
Quality assurance
The position holder is responsible for adherence to the quality assurance requirements on the construction site according to l&C Manual and seeks to improve these continually.
