Is getting a certificate in IT worth it for a GIS career? and what career paths would this be more applicable to? I am currently a GIS analyst thinking about improving my technical skills and considering an IT certificate. If i wanted to progress into a GIS Administrator or technical architect position would this be a benefit, or are these skills that you would acquire on the job?
