I have DEM in GeoTIFF format and I wish to calculate Topographic Wetness Index in SAGA GIS.
TWI tool in SAGA GIS expects that user provides two values - 'slope' and 'catchment area'. Since there's many tools for obtaining mentioned variables (especially those described as slope) in SAGA, I've tried few. Unfprtunately, each time I received a negative TWI value (and as I check it's widely accepted that negative values are not allowed).
Could you tell me if there's any step-by-step tutorial of how to properly get TWI from DEM in Saga?
I found similar question on GIS.SE, but there was no list of used SAGA tools.
