Error on Map Style Tutorial

Trying to follow the Map Style tutorial, as the functionality of changing color of objects selected is one thing I am trying to add to my project. However, after running the code from the tutorial I get the following error:

Note: My code and pom.xml is exactly as shown in the tutorial (I had to tweak a few things, also I am using 14-SNAPSHOT).
