Hope you can help me: I had an Excel table with data and I created a table in ArcGIS via "Excel to table".
Then I generated a domain from that via "Table to Domain" (the field type is text) and then I wanted to append the domain to a field (there also the field tpe is text) in a feature class.
It all worked very well, but then I tested this domain by "digitalize a polygon" and tried to choose from the selection in the pull-down menu of the domain and I noticed that the domain was not appended to the field, the field was still adjusted for hand-writing.
Normally the domains I created in this special feature class, but by hand-writing not by a toolbox tool, worked fine. Maybe it is a problem because there are lots of entries in the domain but also letters (maybe the length of the entries is the problem)?
