I want to display a raster loaded into a PostGIS (2.2) enable PostGRES database (9.3) as a GeoTIFF layer in QGIS.
I get the sense that this needs to be done by creating a view in PostGRES and then querying that object from QGIS. True?
If so, what are the PostGIS functions needed in the view definition to do so?
