'D8 contributing area method' - TauDEM with QGIS

I'm using the TauDEM on Qgis to extract drainage area network from DEM. I could do it easily using the threshold method of TauDEM. Now I would like to do it using a shapefile of the inlets of the network. So I'd like to consider only the cells downslope (by the D8 flow model) of the inlets.

I saw it was possible to give a shapefile of the outlets to the 'D8 contributing area' tool, would it be possible do someting that way with the inlets?
