The cadastral mapping department that I work with is slowly making the transition from ArcInfo Workstation to ArcMap's Parcel Fabric, with little previous exposure to the software. While I have exposure to the software, I don't have exposure to the various land records that the staff commonly draws. That being the case, we have hit a dead end (pun 100% intended) with drawing a cul de sac that is an ellipse, or has both a major and minor radius.
In the Create Features window, we have drawn an ellipse, but have had issues getting parcel lines to terminate on it when inputting the rest of the geometry.
Whether this can be done in the Fabric or must be imported makes no difference; just getting it drawn accurately and without gaps is what we want.
According to the surveyor, these types of cul de sacs are popular in Europe, but there must be others out there who have encountered this problem. Any advice would be a great help.
