Job Requirements
Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain private and public-facing Web mapping sites and applications through concept, design, and implementation phases
• Work with existing design templates to maintain corporate branding and image including implementation of specified standards
• Ensure cross-browser, cross-platform integrity of Web designs
• Maintain knowledge of current trends in Web application development
• Deliver exceptional, quality service to all clients
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, computer science, or a related field
• Five or more years of experience with GIS Web application design and programming
• Experience in designing Web mapping sites and applying GIS concepts
• Demonstrated graphic design skills for Web sites
• Proven Web design/development experience using XHTML and CSS; an understanding of Web 2.0 concepts
• Proven GIS Development skills using ArcGIS Server Web ADF for .Net, ArcIMS WebADF for .Net, ArcObjects, Javascript API, Flex API/Silverlight API
• Experience in installing, configuring and securing ArcGIS Server and ArcIMS Server.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills
