I am currently working on my final year dissertation and most of it is done on LPS. I am using Cartosat-1 and ALOS PRISM imagery to create DTMs for an area that is located on a peninsula. The problem I come up with is that when I create the DTMs the coastline and sea areas get elevation values significantly different from O m (like +6m or -10m) and it affects the overall geometric accuracy of the models. Is there a way to apply a mask on LPS on the coastline, like for example a polyline that has 0 m elevation?
Thank you very much in advance!
P.S. I cannot use multiple coastline points to fix the problem since the imagery is captured in the 2005-2007 period and the coastline has changed until today.
