The Role
Job Description
- To design, develop and implement customized GIS solutions for clients.
- To provide GIS technical advice to clients and the Critigen team within the region.
- To support the Critigen sales team by suggesting GIS solutions to client problems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work closely with analysts and architects to ensure the solutions developed meets the clients requirements.
- Produce technical designs for client spatial solutions.
- Develop and implement customized client solutions.
- Compile technical documentation for acceptance.
- Ensure that recognized GIS and software development technical standards are followed on all developments.
- Liaise with the IT function to ensure the infrastructure will support the developed solution.
- Act as a point of contact for the GIS/Spatial technical issues.
- Keep abreast of technical developments in the Spatial Market place.
Requirements
• Job Location: Maddina.
• Gender: Male.
• Nationality: Saudis or Arabs located in KSA with transferable visa (iqamah)
• Qualification (Education):Bachelor Degree.
• Years of Experience:5 years.
Skills:
- Experiences in the development of GIS Web-based applications using JAVA & .Net with ArcIMS & ArcGIS.
- experiences in the development of GIS Web-based applications using MapInfo MapXtreme .NET, MapInfo MapXtreme SDK.NET, MapInfo Runtime Manipulator.
- Good experiences using PCI Geomatics, AutoDes Civil 3D CAD/flowting, FME (Feature Manipulation engine).
- Good experience to perform analysis on base map with development special scripts for that.
Technical Skills:
- MapInfo MapXtreme .NET.
- MapInfo MapXtreme SDK.NET
- MapX Mobile.
- MapInfo Professional.
- MapInfo Runtime Viewer users.
- MapInfo Runtime Manipulator
- ArcGIS Server (Setup, Administration, Programming).
- ArcGIS Desktop (Base map Manipulation, Programming and Analysis).
- Web servers such as IIS, Apache (Setup and Administration)
- Java script programming.
- XML web services.
- VB.NET programming.
- ASP.NET over VB.NET or C# programming
- Ajax programming over Asp.NET and Java script
- Web standards programming, such as XHTML, XML, HTTP, HTML, CSS Java, J2EE programming.
- Geodatabase design and programming under Oracle 10g, SQL Server 2008
- Comprehensive test plans and conducts tests, Perform QA/QC for application and data.
