JOB DESCRIPTION
Required education or experience in Photogrammetry Engineering. Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and documentation of photogrammetry techniques and software. Ability to introduce products to customers, implement training and customer support.
This position functions primarily within our office with contact to customers, employees, management, and Suppliers. The Photogrammetry Engineer is responsible for providing Customer Driven Focus while selling and supporting products and services. The products include Intergraph LPS, ImageStation and ERDAS Imagine.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Plans, coordinates, and also directs activities concerned with conducting aerial or satellite surveys
•Analyzes survey objectives plus specifications, utilizing knowledge of survey uses, like municipal & ecological planning, property as well as utility mapping plus petroleum mineral exploration
•Selects most appropriate & economical survey methods, using knowledge of capabilities of aerial photography applications of remote sensing imagery
•Estimates cost of survey
•Advises customers as well as department supervisors regarding flights for aerial photography plans for ground surveys designed to establish base lines, elevations, and also other geodetic measurements
•Computes geodetic measurements as well as interprets survey data from ground or aerial photographs or remote-sensing images to define position, shape, and also elevation of geomorphic topographic features
•Conducts research in surveying as well as mapping methods plus procedures, using knowledge of techniques of photogrammetric map compilation, electronic data processing, and also flight control planning
•May direct one or more phases of technical operations concerned with preparing survey proposals, negotiating with clients, scheduling activities, conducting surveys, processing data, reviewing work quality, and also training assigning personnel.
•Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those encountered in the course of work and use effective oral and written communication.

•Fluent computer skill is a must.
•Project management skill.
•Precise, meticulous, organized personality.
•Sense of responsibility and follow-up.
•Self-educating capacity through reading, research and internet browsing.
