. The Roles of GIS Senior Data Consultant shall be, but not limited to, the following:
a) Responsible for design, development, maintenance and implementation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) based information and data.
b) Performs tasks, as assigned by GIS Project Manager or Superintendent to create, verify and/or modify geographic-related data using latest ESRI (Environmental Systems Research Institute) software tools.
c) Creates the GIS Based models from Computer Aided Design (CAD) systems
d) Prepare layers, shape files, maps, charts and sketches using ESRI based GIS software and related tools.
e) Supervise field surveys and conducts inspections utilizing GIS and GPS tools, whenever needed.
f) Prepare drafts of recommendations and reports on GIS products, applications, studies and data sets whenever required.
g) Certified in ESRI GIS software package.
h) Good English skills.
Skills
. Qualifications of GIS Senior Data Consultant
a) Bachelor's degree in science or Engineering (preferably survey related) from an accredited college or university and considerable (6- 8 years) experience utilizing geo-spatial tools to create, update, analyze, or maintain digital maps, layers, or GIS- based information, preferably using ESRI-based GIS software OR an equivalent combination of training and experience beyond an Associate’s degree.
b) Thorough knowledge of Survey, Statistics, Geography, GPS and Cartography
c) Thorough knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Platform or higher including ArcToolBox and related Extensions.
d) Working knowledge of database management systems and techniques, with Microsoft SQL Server preferred
