OpenStreetMap and open geo data will be a major topic at the upcoming Open Government Partnership Summit in Mexico City October 27th - 29th. The gathering of 66 signatory countries, and civil society, committed to accountability, transparency and open data comes at the heels of the United Nations ratification of the Global Goals for Sustainable Development Data. Open geospatial data is one of the key data priorities within the Global Goals.
