For some reason, the requests page was dominated by requests for a map of virtually every landmark in San Francisco, but this one caught my eye because I do a lot of transit maps. Since I have street bases of virtually every US downtown area already drawn, it wasn't much of a stretch for me to add the cable car lines and think about the best way to show shared trackage.
SVG is a new file format for me, and I'm still struggling with some details of how it works, as well as what version (SVG or PNG) Wikipedia shows.
