3DF Stasia
3DF Stasia is the codename of our proprietary algorithm to extract a very accurate high-poly mesh from a set of 2d images. In computer vision this process is best known as Multiview Stereo. Our technology closely speaks with Samantha, our structure and motion pipeline, to give the most accurate reconstruction as possible. We stressed accuracy and we do make use of every single pixel of the input images to generate the 3d surface. The obtained solution is in all probability the most accurate, completely automatic, best engineered multiview-stereo algorithm available on the market.

3DF Sasha is the codename of our proprietary algorithm for mesh extraction: given a dense point cloud full of details, it is important to preserve as much detail as possible when extracting the surface. Also while developing 3DF Sasha we stressed accuracy among other things. The algorithm is in the final part of development and testing, and it will be introduced in Q2 2015.

3DF Lapyx
3DF Lapyx is a free software utility to perform automatic camera calibration, that extracts the typical intrinsics camera parameters used in Computer Vision.
The software can extract and export the camera focal length (in pixels and mm), optical center, skew, and radial distortions parameters (using the Brown’s model).A simple wizard will guide you into the phase of camera calibration. All you have to do is take some pictures of a checkerboard grid, everything else is automatic.The software run on Windows, and comes in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
JLinkage
Linkage is a robust method for multiple models fitting.
The method is based on RANdom SAmpling as in RANSAC. We defined the novel concept of preference set (PS) of each point, i.e., the set of models that are satisfied by the point within a tolerance. Points belonging to the same structure will have similar PS, in other words, they will cluster in the conceptual space. The J-linkage algorithm proceed with an agglomerative clustering procedure that link elements with Jaccard distance smaller than 1 and stop as soon as there are no such elements left. We developed also an improved version that is able to work in an incremental way with an online framework.
According to Google Scholar, the original paper has already been cited more than 150 times. You can download the complete source code of the method below.

In partnership with Quantel, 3Dflow took part at the development of SynthIA, a software package that provides professional high quality Stereo3D Interaxial adjustment in Post-processing.
SynthIA provides a complete suite of high quality Stereo3D manipulation tools that help users deliver compelling, high quality S3D results.
SynthIA tools include: Multiple display modes; Analytical tools (Luma/Chroma maps, Vectorscope, Disparity maps and Z-view); Color match (balances left and right eye color differences); Geofix (removes left and right eye geometry differences); Interaxial adjustment (changes the apparent camera interaxial distance after the shoot) and Z-warp (modify the Z composition of the shot).
