Project Manager
- Interpret plans and estimate costs and quantities of materials needed
- Plan construction methods and procedures
- Coordinate the supply of labour and materials
- Supervise construction sites and direct site managers and subcontractors to make sure standards of building performance, quality, cost schedules and safety are maintaine
- Study building contract documents and negotiate with building owners and subcontractors
- Control preparation of cost estimates and the documentation for contract bids
- Control payment to subcontractors by valuation of completed works
- Make sure that building regulations, standards and by-laws are enforced in building operations
- Consult with architects, engineers and other technical workers to make sure that design intentions are met.

Knowledge, Experience:
-Minimum 15 years experience in construction field
-Set the goals and objectives of the project within a defined time frame and budget
-Develop / monitor the overall project management process, ensuring delivery
-Plan and identify various accountabilities of team members.
-Manage the team and the various elements of the project processes and assemble them into a deliverable product
-Establish project staffing plan at various stages of the project
-Identify and track critical activities, risks, contingencies and alternatives
-Supervise, mentor and guide team members ensuring that their attitudes are harmonized and aligned to the objectives, deliverables and timelines
-Plan and control the project schedules and produce an executive summary on cost and progress.
-Must have knowledge of FIDIC and American/International
construction standards.
-Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited College or University in a related field.
-Previous experience in large scale projects is highly desirable
-Previous experience in Geographical Information System (GIS) is
highly desirable
-Project Management (PM) certification with experience in managing projects involving various, different and independent inputs and feedback.
-Must be completely conversant in English
-Strong Interpersonal and communication skills
-Strong team orientation, excellent negotiation skills and firm ethics
