Description
GIS and Statistical Tools
Monitor the functioning and security of the GIS application, to ensure that performance and availability is in line with the requirements of SCAD.
GIS Information
Collect, edit and analyze all available and up-to-date geographical information in the database and ensure data is stored securely.
Database Management
Maintain the master data and data dictionary in the GIS application to ensure data integrity.
User Requirements and Modifications
Pro-actively propose improvements to GIS and Statistical functionality to enhance the user experience.
GIS Applications Development
Pro-actively signal user needs with regard to the GIS functionality and propose possible enhancements to increase user friendliness.
Geographic Concordance and Analysis
Analyse regional data to create geographic concordances to enable users to efficiently retrieve time series information for regions.
Enumerator Support
Increase the efficiency of enumerators work by providing accurate geographic information and designing enumerator work areas.
Procedures and Policies
Adhere to the relevant internal operational policies and procedures within GIS in order to ensure a high-quality and correct execution of the activities within the unit and validity of the information.
