IFRC 2013 World Disasters Report, released today, says: 'Lack of access to information and technology has a major impact on people’s ability to prepare for, survive and recover from disasters'. Initiatives that bring better/ more use of available technology, such as GIS, to local levels are clearly the way to go. Thanks Liz.
