I am a GIS coordinator in Government at a time when we are striving to conform to Inspire guidelines. A significant amount of effort is been invested to create and maintain WMS Services to ensure interoperability. Why then is it a widely documented view that WMS is dead? Particularly from people with successful pioneer positions in GIS. What do they know that I don´t or am just not seeing?
