I have developed a GIS web application using OpenGeoSuite for Electricity Asset Management System. It uses Geoserver, PostGIS/PostgreSQL, PHP, GeoExplorer for normal functioning. However, I need to deploy that in Apache Tomcat server as a war file. Is it required to re-do the app in Java and if so how shall I configure the entire setup using best opensource combinations? Right now, I have decided upon using OL4JSF, JAVAFaces, Geoserrver. Is it possible to do in MVC? Lemme know a possible, flexible, light-weight combination.
