This has been my question for a while. But I never found a comprehensive answer to my question.
Today I found a video on youtube for multilooking the data with NEST (Next ESA SAR Toolbox) seems that it produces square pixel out of rectangular SAR pixels.
But how does this operate?
Is it as simple as averaging several pixels or it has a more complicated algorithm?
What is multilooking's algorithm (introduce me a resource to study)?
Is multilooking's output coherency or covariance matrix? Them what is ensemble averaging?(because you know in SAR decomposition techniques, we use ensemble averages of the pixels, I know what is ensemble averaging theoretically in math but I don't know how we extract ensemble averages of pixels in a SAR image)
