Dont wonder - WebOffice 10 R3 is not the latest release, but it is still in use in many customers productive environments.So there is ongoing support for this version and thus SynerGIS releases this Service Pack 5. Besides fixes for reported bugs/oddities there are a number of new features comming with this service pack:
Apache Tomcat 7 supported for WebOffice 10R3 SP5
Apache Tomcat 7 together with Java JDK7 for WebOffice 10 R3 is wanted/needed at different customer sites to keep up with other systems necessities.
Navigation within map widget is reworked completely
A straight-forward and "klick-less" Navigation of map widget further improves usability. In addition, it is now easier for developers to implement and configure plus test map widget. This is achieved by the test container, where map widget calls can be assembled and tested quickly. This container app has been improved. There is now additional information in Debug-Mode - X/Y position, scale, LOD (level of detail):
Buffer and Vicinity-Analysis now part of map widget
There is a buffer tool now in the context menu, after a query has been transmitted. A buffer search can also be done after there have been features selected , plus buffering of buffer results is possible.
