I would like to add a new field to a raster file. Then, I would like to add the new field content. Can I do this with a join of attributes?
I know that a raster file can be reclassed. But there are numerous classes. It is quicker to export the original file attribute table, and use it to create a new join table with the new field content.
Join Tool is not working for me - getting the 'no OID' message.Add Join is working. But I get a temporary file and I am not able to make it permanent. (I see only a way to make a shapefile feature classes permanent after a join - no luck with how to make a raste permanent after a join).
