The GIS file I'm working in (ArcMap 10.2) has several points that are labeled. Instead of using text however, the person before me labeled them using something different. Whenever I click on the labels to edit/move them, the properties box pops up and it is listed as an "embedded image" Selecting them is very difficult and editing them is almost impossible (nothing works: double clicking, highlighting, etc.) They are not listed in the TOC.Is there a way I can edit an embedded image? It a label made up of letters and numbers. If not, is there a way to convert to text?
