im trying to extract aerosol-type-land data from a modis image witch is decompose to 4 category (0-4) and have as a result a monthly mean value of each category. so i started by converting raster to point for all image of the month and using append tool to make them in one shapefile and then using IDW interpolation but the problem was in the result of IDW witch give as a result more then 100 categories but it should be only 4. i think overlapped point caused by append is the problem. so anyone have a idea about how to solve this problem and if anyone have another idea please tell me
