I have trouble interfacing my Foretrex 101 GPS unit using my Lenovo laptop.
I suspect that this has to do with the virtual COM port setting (The laptop has no serial port so I make use of a USB to Serial bridge based on Texas Instrument TUSB3410 along with the vendor's original driver).
My current virtual COM port settings:
Transfert speed: 9600
Data bits: 8
Parity control: None
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: None
My question:
Should I consider changing the settings or did I miss anything of capital importance?
