I am currently doing a practical project at university (MSc in GIS).It would be great if someone could help me. I have to develop a python script and the functionality of this script has been left very open other than we have to use Python and with ESRI Arcmap. I would like to script a tool that will allow the user to enter and address and using Google API it will access the address and return it with the Longitude and Latitude and display this as a point within a shapefile.Firstly is this possible to achieve?Can any one offer similar ideas so I may be able to see how it is constructed?Thanks in advance
