Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop work plans, methods and procedures to perform surveying tasks.
2. Maintain all instruments and instrument register as per Contract
3. requirements.
4. Collect and analyze field data; perform complex survey and engineering computations.
5. Ensure adherence to safe work practices including proper use of traffic control measures during field work.
6. Arrange for regular spot check on work and records.
7. Spot check instruments in use to ensure that they are duly calibrated and in good proper adjustment.
8. Ensure that setting out books are properly maintained and filed when complete.
9. Conduct surveys to determine precise location and measurement of points, elevations, lines, areas and contours for construction, map making and other purposes.
10. Keep accurate notes, records and sketches to describe and certify work performed.
11. Perform any other reasonable duties as required.
Skills
Computer literate
Thorough knowledge of effective practices, methods, techniques and
equipment of land surveying
Ability to make accurate survey computations.
Good command of spoken and written English.
