Functions
Manage the field crew personnel and equipment
Carry out field surveys assigned by the survey supervisor/project engineer
Perform observations and compare, standardize, and calibrate survey equipment.
Compute and adjust first, second, and third order vertical and horizontal geodetic control networks.
Transport, setup, operate, and maintain survey equipment.
Perform preliminary field computations to verify field observations for control surveys and compute preliminary values of horizontal and vertical control points.
Perform field checks to ensure the quality and integrity of field survey measurement to meet the project specifications and accuracy requirements.
Convert grid and geodetic coordinates and transform coordinates to different coordinate systems.
Downloading and uploading survey data between the survey instrument and the PC.
Setup, operate, and maintain conventional and GPS survey equipment.
Perform standard conventional and GNSS data measurement/observations.
Downloading and uploading survey data between the survey instrument and the PC.
Prepare surveys and field notes.
Processing of field survey data using professional surveying applications.
Preparation of field data for layout from project design drawings.
Input field-survey data into CAD programs and process CAD data into final products.
Processing GPS data including real time kinematic (RTK), differential code and carrier phase, and static baseline processing
Creating feature code libraries, survey styles, GIS data dictionaries, and coordinate systems for survey systems
Performing quality checks to ensure that the final products meet the required project specifications.
