I am having trouble calibrating these to obtain the same answer. I would like to use a Gaussian distribution. What would I have to selectto get identical results? I know that GWR4 uses centroids for the polygons, does ArcGIS GWR auto-calculate them from the .shp file?
I should note that I tried running the GWR4 and obtained a golden section of 44 neighbors, when I tried selecting bandwidth in ArcGIS and adding 44 as the number of neighbors, I did not get the same answer. If it is not possible to obtain the same results with these two software packages, how do I know which one I can actually trust?
