SLD : how to filter the polygon below the central point of the map?

Here's a snippet of my code :

ME_SURFACE wms_bbox #00FF00 1.0 #40FF40 Can someone explain why when using the centroid function no polygon is selected ?I compared the output of the centroid function and the gmloint using labels, and I couldn't find any significant difference. This is driving me crazy...
